Date Filter

How can I create a filter to display records within a date range? For example, dateA is greater then or equal to the current date AND dateB is less than or equal to the current date.

You need 2 filters. One for date>= and another one for date <=.

How do I correctly format the filter?

I'm selecting a field with a date datatype. I'm provided a single input to add the filter. Adding "date <=" to the input results in the following error.
Error:UniversalList_Promotions:ExpiryDate:135

UniversalList_Promotions is the name of my table.
ExpiryDate is the name of the data field I'm selecting from the table.
