Is it possible to show only Search on the Short View Page (not show the associated list/table) so that the user simply enters criteria and then only sees the part of the list showing that matches the search criteria when Search is clicked? The client for whom I want to use the module this time wants users to be able to search the list but not ever see the full list.

This feature would be very important to me as well... I'm considering buying UL. I want to make a library search program, but I really don't want all the books listed as soon as you open the page. So just having a search screen with no results is very very useful for many users I'm sure.
Through the forums I hear rumours about a version 5... would this be a part of it? Is there a way to do this now? When would version 5 be ready?
