I have a user-defined security role but I don't see it appear as a choice on the security table. Can only standard registered, unregistered, subscribers be assigned permissions?

All roles must be at the Security tab. What version of DNN? Can you to give us the access to the portal? If yes, then please send it to support@cookdnn.com

The problem portal is DNN 4.7. The one that works (shows the custom role) is DNN 4.6.2.

In case anyone else has this problem......The security roles created in the parent portal were visible in the UL security grid (of modules installed on both the parent and child portals), but not roles created on the child portal.
I guess you wouldn't have the problem if you were working on a parent portal.
